Hippolyte Simon
Monseigneur Hippolyte Simon was born the February 25th 1944 with Saint-Georges-with-Rouelley, in the Manche.
It is ordered priest the June 27th 1970.
Elected official bishop of Clermont the February 22nd 1996, it receives the episcopal dedication the May 4th of the same year, of the hands of Monseigneur Jacques Fihey.
He is high with the dignity of Archevêque Métropolitain of Clermont the December 16th 2002, following the recutting of the ecclesiastical provinces in France.
He is in addition representing bishops of France near the Commission of the episcopates of the European Union (COMECE).
