Hippolyte Nectoux
Hippolyte Nectoux (born the May 8th 1759 with Autun; died the June 9th 1836 with Montrouge) was a botanist.
Hyppolyte Nectoux introduced the Breadfruit tree with the the Antilles. Member of the Commission of Sciences and Arts during the Countryside of Egypt, it produced first potatoes in this country. He went until in Nubie where he discovered wild senna on foot. After its return in France, he became gardener as a chief of the Château of Fontainebleau.
