Hippogriffe
A hippogriffe (of the Italian ippogrifo ) is a fabulous animal, semi-horse, mid- Griffon, medieval tales of chivalry.
It is the writer and Italian poet Ludovico Ariosto says Arioste (1517-1525) which spoke the first of this fabulous animal which appears as a winged horse, and whose head resembled that of a griffon from where its name drawn from the old Greek ἵππος / híppos , horse , and of Italian grifo , “griffon”. He appears in particular in the furious Roland of Arioste, then is included in many tales of chivalry.
More recently, this fantastic being reconsidered the front of the scene thanks to the saga Harry Potter.
