Hip-hop in Japan
L´histoire of the hip-hop to the Japan is directed by the new wave which is very related to the American Hip-hop.
One finds like marks clothing Bape , whose director is Nigo. CD emblematic of this new wave is l´album Teriyaki Boyz, left in 2005, with as producer of the great names, the Beastie Boys, DJ Shadow, Pharrell, but also of the groups like Daft Punk.
The characteristic first of this new wave is of course a separation of ideal compared to the hip-hop of the beginning (old school), indeed, this hip-hop is based quasi-exclusivement on the money (the Bape mark could almost be qualified " of luxe"). The Japanese new wave (more than the others hip-hop which one can find everywhere else) rather addresses to the rich people a minimum.
