Hinrich Lohse

Hinrich Lohse (born the September 2nd 1896 with Mühlenbarbek, the Schleswig-Holstein; died the February 25th 1964 with Mühlenbarbek) is a politician Nazi.
Lohse, which exerted as sales agent had been born in a family from small farmers. Of 1903 with 1912, it followed a schooling to the Volksschule of its city then in a business school. In 1913 it worked like employee with the shipyards of Blohm & Voss with Hamburg. During the First World War, it was useful in the army of the September 23rd 1915 until the October 30th 1916 or it was exempted following its wounds of war.
Lohse was one of the leaders in 1919 of the association of the farmers of the Schleswig-Holstein then in 1920 became general secretary of the country party of the Schleswig-Holstein. In 1923, it joined the Nazi party and becomes the March 27th 1925 the Gauleiter of the NSDAP for the Schleswig-Holstein. In 1924, like member of the list of the Völkisch - Sozialer Block , he became the only Nazi with being elected with the college representative of the city ( Stadtverordnetenkollegium ) of Altona /Elbe. For this period, it directed différentres country nationalist associations in the north of Germany, like the Landvolkbewegung (" Movement of the people paysan"), within the Nazi party. Between 1928 and 1929, Lohse also temporarily managed the Gau Nazi of Hamburg.
Lohse, which was member of the Reichstag since 1932, was named little time after the catch to be able Nazi like High President ( Oberpräsident ) of the province of the Schleswig-Holstein. In 1934, it took the direction of the Scandinavian company ( Nordische Gesellschaft ). In 1942, Lohse was named Commissaire with the defense of Reich, like all the others Gauleiter S.
After the occupation of part of the Soviet Union by the German troops, Hinrich Lohse became on July 17th 1941 Reichskommissariat Ostland , police chief of Reich for the territories of the East Lohse did not give up therefore his functions in the Schleswig-Holstein and made the shuttle between Riga and Kiel. After its taking of, it placed friends close to the Schleswig-Holstein at all kind of important stations. It remained in this function until its escape of the Reichskommissariat Ostland with the autumn 1944 in front of the projection of the Red Army. To the Schleswig-Holstein, whereas the Nazi regime lost ground, it applied completely, as Commissaire with the defense of Reich, the order Nazi.
The May 6th 1945, because of the British requests, Lohse was dislocated of its post of High President of the Schleswig-Holstein by the president of Reich Karl Dönitz and captured little time afterwards by the British troops. He was condemned in 1948 to 10 years of prison but was released in 1951 for medical reasons. 2 investigations were launched by the prosecutors against him. The benefit of the pension of the High President for whom Lohse had fought was removed to him on pressure of the Landtag of the Schleswig-Holstein. It spent its last years to Mühlenbarbek.
