Himère
Himère is a Greek city founded on the septentrional coast of the Sicily by Messine towards 648 av . J. - C.. Carthage which tries to seize some there is overcome in 480 av . J. - C. by Gélon the tyrant of Syracuse. But in 409 av . J. - C. the city is taken by the Carthaginians which massacre the population and destroy the city completely.
