High-Anjou
The High-Anjou extends on all the northern part of the Département of Maine-et-Loire and one the southern third of the department close to the Mayenne, known as Mayenne angevine, like in the South of the department of the the Sarthe, under the name of Maine angevin.
As its name indicates it, High-Anjou dominates by its heights, (hills and slopes), the valley of the Loire and the low tributary valleys ligériennes of the royal river. High-Anjou covers the areas located upstream rivers Mayenne, the Sarthe and Loir.

- the Community of communes of the Country of Castle-Gontier, the Community of communes of the Country of Craonnais, the Community of communes of the Area of Thimble-the-Vivien, the Community of communes of Saint-Aignan - Renazé.
- the Maine angevin includes/understands the old seigniories angevines the Arrow, Lude, the communal territory located at the south of Sablé-sur-Sarthe and until the limits of Castle-of-Dormouse.
