Hideo Nakata

Hideo Nakata () is a Japanese realizer born the July 19th 1961 with Okayama (Japan).

It obtains a diploma with the Université of Tōkyō, but after having done several small work on film sets it is intended for the cinema. It then integrates the seminar of cinema of Shigehiko Hasumi. It is then engaged by the Nikkatsu for which it will work on Pinku eiga (erotic films with small budget) as an assistant realizer near Konoma Masaru. It is during this period that he will learn really the trade. After several year it reaches the station of realizer while working on project for the television and the direct market of the to video . In 1996, it carries out Ghost Actress , its first feature-length film intended for the big screen. It is followed of Ring which will reveal it with an international level.
