Hialeah
Hialeah is an American city located in the Comté of Miami-Dade in Florida. It belongs to the metropolitan surface of Miami and is located in a large meadow between the Baie of Biscayne and the Everglades. Its surface is of 51,1 km ².
The origin of the name of the city is generally allotted to the people Muskogee. Hialeah would be made up of Haiyakpo (meadow) and hili (pretty), Hialeah would then mean pretty meadow .
According to the national census of 2004, the population of Hialeah is established with 224.522 inhabitants, that is to say the fifth town of Florida in term of population. A great majority of this population is of Spanish-speaking origin (85%).
One finds in Hialeah the world center of the Santeria, the head office of Telemundo and a great production center of the Orangina. Hialeah is one of the densest cities without Gratte-ciel S (the largest building does not have which 14 stages).
