Hexagonal prism
In Geometry, the hexagonal prism is the fourth in the infinite whole of the prisms formed by with dimensions squares and two hexagonal faces regular. It has 8 faces, 12 Sommet S and 18 edges.
It is a Octaèdre. Nevertheless, the octahedral term is mainly used with the " term; régulier" or implicitly, consequently it does not mean hexagonal prism; in the general direction, the octahedral term , it is not used much because there exist various types which do not have large joint thing except the same number of faces.
In the majority of the prisms, volume is found by taking the surface of the base which one multiplies by the height.
If the faces all are regular, it is a semi-regular Polyèdre.
It is a Zonoèdre, a polyhedron which allows the paving of space.
