Herve Tellier

Herve Tellier is a writer French born the April 21st 1957.

Biography

Author of novels (of which one of the series “the Octopus”), news, poetries, theater, Herve Tellier is also the author of very short forms, often humorous, of which its variations on the Mona Lisa. He was co-opted with the Oulipo (Sewing room of Potential Literature) in 1992 (simultaneously with the German poet Oskar Pastior), and published on the Sewing room a reference book: Esthetic of Oulipo .
Mathematician of formation, then journalist - graduate of the Training center of the journalists in Paris (promotion 1983) -, it is Linguiste and specialist in " literatures with contraintes". Editor, it made publish several works with the Astral Castor as What has man! , Georges Perec, or I remember " I souviens" , of Roland Brewer.
With other artists and writer S, like Henri Cueco, Gerard Mordillat, Jacques Toy, or Jean-Bernard Pouy, it takes part since 1991 in the emission Of Papous in the head animated today by Francoise Treussard on France-Culture; Of the papous… is an emission founded by Bertrand Jerome.
He collaborates daily, since 2002, in the morning electronic letter of the newspaper Le Monde , by a ticket of mood entitled Sandpaper .
He is finally, with Frederic Pagès, one of the founders of the Amis of Jean-Baptiste Botul (1896-1947), hoax around alleged “a philosopher of oral tradition”.
