  • 1923: fusion with Berliner SC 1899 in Hertha BSC Berlin

  • 1945: the club is famous Hertha BSC Berlin

Origin of the name and the colors

The name of the club comes owing to the fact that Fritz Linder and its father had one day gone on a journey on a Steamer baptized Hertha . Its chimney was painted of white and blue bands, which are now the colors of the club.
