Hermas
Hermas would be according to certain sources the brother of the bishop of Rome Pie Ier, the 10th Pape.
He is the author of the Pasteur d' Hermas Christian text of the 2nd century. It is about the longest writing of the period of the apostolic fathers; it revêt an private interest by its apocalyptic literary kind, the message liberator on post-baptismal penitence, and by the portrait that he leaves us Roman Catholic church towards 150. It is present in the New Testament of oldest Bible in our possession: the Codex Sinaiticus.
A hermas indicates in the common language a waste land. It is the name of the field of the entomologist Jean Henri FABRE in Sérignan of Comtat (Vaucluse). Jean Henri Fabre
