Hermanville-on-Sea is a common French, located in the department of the Calvados and the area Basse-Normandie.

Geography

The commune of Hermanville-on-Sea is located on the Côte of Mother-of-pearl between the communes of Lion-on-Sea and Colleville-Montgomery.

History

The beach Sword Beach was one of the beaches of the American unloading of the 6 June 1944.
