Hermann Kövess

Hermann Kövess von Kövesshaza (born the March 30th 1854 with Temesvar - deceased the September 22nd 1924). Austro-Hungarian soldier.

Marshal, he was the successor of Arthur Arz von Straußenburg as a commander of the whole of the Army.

It thus did not remain any more in Kövess quà to order the retirement of the troops and to proclaim the demobilization of the armed forces decided by the Emperor Charles Ist It continues this operation of Démobilisation until December 3rd, 1918.
