Hermann De Croo
Hermann De Croo (born the August 12th 1937 with Opbrakel in Belgium), is a Belgian Politician . He is currently appointed federal and burgomaster of Brakel.
Doctorate in right obtained to the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles in 1961.
President of the Room of the representatives of July 1st 1999 with the July 12th 2007.
Minister of state on a purely honorary basis since the June 3rd 1998. At the time of the political crisis of the summer 2007, it belongs to the Ministers of state consulted officially by the king Albert II with the castle of the View-point to leave the crisis. Very near to the Belgian royal family, it chaired the Cardiologic Foundation Lilian Princess and regularly defends monarchy in the debates.
Honorary member of the Rotary drill - Club of Renaix (Ronse).
Member of VLD.
Married to Francoise Desguin, 2 children.
