Hermanas de Soong
The Drapeau of the Angola is composed of two horizontal bands red (above) and Noir E. In the center is struck an emblem Jaune constituté of a star with five points surrounded by a half of wheel with tooth and crossed by a Machette.
The red represents the blood poured by the Angolans at the time of colonization, the independence and the defense of the country. The black represents the unintermitting African. The yellow was selected to symbolize the richnesses of the country.
The wheel symbolizes the workmen and industry, the machete the peasants and agriculture, finally the star symbolizes the international solidarity and the Progrès.
