Hermanas de Machinson

Légion 88 was a nationalist musical group and néo-Nazi Parisien (originating in the Essonne) of the Années 1980. The 88 is a code to mean Heil Adolf Hitler literally (“Hitler Hello H being the 8th letter of the alphabet. By taking the alphabet with back, the 8 is in the place of S, the 88 thus being able to symbolize S.

This group was interdict for racist remarks.

Biography

Formed by Jerome Wagner on ashes of the group Totenkopf and thus of the wild Infantry, they evolved/moved in the medium of the skinheads of extreme right-hand side, played of the music Oi! and more particularly of the Rock'n'roll anticommunist. The texts are very violent one and openly racists.

1986 is one pivotal year. Géno drowns in the the Loire and Alain arrives as final singer of Legion 88. He had just purged a sorrow to have attacked a room of the Communist party. The remainder of Totenkopf will join Légion 88 which will be composed of Vico (Totenkopf) to the battery, Jean (Totenkopf) with the Guitare, Fred with the low , Domi with the Guitare and Alain with the Chant.

This formation records the demonstration Our Europe in 1986 with a resumption of Totenkopf Souviens . Then one will come 45 turns Terroristes at Rebelles Europeans in 1987, where one finds a homage to Géno, and compilation Debout volume 1 with 3 titles.

They will be one of the rare French groups to play the United Kingdom, in the Suffolk, at the side of the group Skrewdriver in 1987. The titles live will be recorded on this occasion and will arise many years after the end of the group. The concert was also filmed.

For the 33 turns of 10 titles Thulé , Bruno replaces Domi. There too, one finds a homage to Géno and a resumption of Totenkopf Enfin raised .

In 1989, the group takes part in compilation 100 birthday with the title Enfin raised . New 45 turns arrives, white Légion , which will leave initially without the agreement the group then all will return in the order. Among the titles, white Legion and I had a kamarade . The group separates the same year.

In 1992, one 45 turns pirate will leave where one finds the 2 versions of Souviens one Totenkopf and the other of Legion 88.

Thereafter, one will also leave 45 turns Split with Australian Open Season on the label White League (makes Rebelles Europeans of them). It includes/understands 3 titles live recorded at the time of the St George' S Day (the festival of the national saint of England) in the United Kingdom, with 2 resumptions of Totenkopf Conquering Europe and Souviens .

Alain then assembled a group of hardcore named Tribal Zone, credit of 1993 with 1997 approximately. This group was apolitical but nevertheless near to the movements of the young people of the national front. According to some, Alain drowns in the the Seine in 1998, whereas it tried to save its cat of the drowning, at the 47 years age. Another version having circulated on forums Internet in the years 2000 supports that Alain Perez “would have changed his/her colors” and would have become employed in a ray discs in a Virgin Megastore of the Paris region.

Anecdotes

Legion 88 has not existed any more for more than fifteen years but remains the source of the Rock anticommunist. They are often confused with current groups, this is due to the file-swapping via the Peer to peer, the name of the group being often used as keyword to index the files because Légion 88 is a reference of the groups of RAC French. One can however specify that Legion 88 is now the name and the banner under which all the Anti-Communiste rock groups (RAC) are joined together.

Legion 88 remains a worship group for the current or unquestionable movements néonazis skinheads.
