Heredity non-mendélienne
In Genetic, the heredity non-mendélienne indicates the hereditary transmission of a feature of an organization to its descent without deterioration of the genetic sequence of the Chromosome S. One employs this term in opposition to the Hérédité mendélienne which is the most traditional form of genetic transmission whose laws were in particular discovered by Gregor Mendel at the XIXe century. The transmission non-mendélienne much more recently rests on cellular mechanisms discovered which imply, in particular, the Organite S of the Cytoplasme, such Mitochondrie S.
Heredity non-mendélienne is implied in different Pathologie S like the Maladies mitochondriales.
