Ici Even is a Roman graph in black and white of 163 boards scenarized by Jean-Claude Forest and drawn by Jacques Tardi, prépublié in (TO BE FOLLOWED) in 1978 and published at Casterman in 1979.

Summary

In Mornemont, Arthur Même lives on the Mur S. Dépossédé of the grounds of its family by the inhabitants, it could recover only the walls, and the gates which it opens with the help of a right-of-way. The assistance of its lawyers well, it takes into account to find its heritage, while fearing the perfidy of its neighbors, eager to get rid of this intruder. A grocer in boat comes to supply it on the lake. Every evening, Arthur telephones his/her mother from her narrow house perched on a wall.

Arthur is a large chatterer who speaks all alone, and a dreamer who sees what he imagines. Any rocker one day rainy where it surprises an young girl, Julie Maillard, naked on a bidet.

Comments

For the first number of (TO BE FOLLOWED), between onirism and erotism, madness and black Humor, poetry and cruelty, this cartoon marks the meeting between a rigorous draftsman and a particularly imaginative scenario writer.

Adaptation

The cartoon was the adaptation object to the theater by the Company Bus shelter in Grenoble in 2001.
