Hercílio Luz

Hercílio Luz (Florianópolis, 1860 - Florianópolis, 1924) was governor of the State Brésil IEN of Santa Catarina of 1894 with 1898 then of 1922 at 1924 and senator of this same State of 1900 at 1922.

Civil engineer of formation, it made in particular its various mandates profitable to equip Florianópolis, the capital of the State, a network of cleansing and to make build the first bridge to connect the island of Santa Catarina to the continent. This bridge bears today its name, the Pont Hercílio Luz. ----
