Herbert Rosenfeld
Herbert Alexandre Rosenfeld is a psychoanalyst and Psychiatre born in Germany in 1910 and died in Londre in 1986.
Biography
Dipômé of medicine to Munich in 1934, it must emigrate in 1935 in Great Britain where it passes by again its examinations. He becomes psychiatrist and is interested in the psychoanalytical treatment psychotics. Whereas for certain analysts, the Negative therapeutic reaction is a crippling failure, Rosenfeld tries to show that these " impasses" are moments which can and should be exceeded and that they should not be used as pretext to stop a cure. This theory of resembles of nothing a form eagerness or stubbornness analyst but the need that test patients to live again and make live with their analyst dead ends which they subjectively lived at key times of their development.
