Herbert Mayo

Herbert Mr. Mayo (1796-1852) was a Anatomiste and British Physiologiste. He was professor of anatomy and physiology to the King' S College of London.

In 1822 (and about at the same time as Charles Bell), it allotted to the facial Nerf driving functions and to the Nerve trigeminal of the sensitive functions ( Mayo HM. Anatomical and Physiological Underwood Connections, London, 1822 and 1823 ).

In 1842, it locates the territory of the Réflexe photomotor in a preparation which includes/understands the eyes and a segment of the cerebral Tronc, ranging between the strips and the intersection of the higher cérébelleux stalks.
