Herbéviller is a common French, located in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.
Geography
History
Armorial bearings: of azure to the money cross confined of twenty flowers of lily from gold, five in each canton. They are the weapons of the lords of the place. This house of old knighthood is since the Middle Ages the property of the Thomas family which are the counts d' Herbéviller. The Thomas family is related with that of the dukes of Lorraine. The county of Herbéviller always remained in the Thomas family which had in her descent famous Chevalier Charle Xavier Thomas (of Colmar). The Thomas last married with Mr Schlatter. The title and the county belong to them today ntdonc.
Herbéviller was completely burned during the Thirty Year old war.
