Heol Telwen
Heol Telwen is a Breton group of Celtic Folk Metal.
The group mixes extreme metal (the musicians come mainly from the Black metal) and of the Celtic influences, in the line of a group like Cruachan in Ireland.
The texts take as a starting point Breton and Celtic legends, and the music incorporates traditional acoustic instruments: bombards, chock whistle, etc
The song is in English, French, and Breton, sign of the strong rooting of the group in the Breton and Celtic Culture.

History
Yskithyrwynn, Kraban & Anaon create
Heol Telwen . The group officiated at the time in a style directed Black/Death metal.
The line up of the group at that time was composed of Yskithyrwynn to the song, Kraban & Anaon with the Guitar guitar.
Ossian join the group as a bass player
The group is directed towards a folk style, the old pieces are given up and new the composition mix metal (combining Black-metal, Thrash-Metal like certain Heavy-metal parts) with the traditional musics Celtiques.
Yskithyrwynn passes behind the barrels & Kraban become the official singer, the choruses (extremely permanent) are officiated by Ossian.
A few months later Nehmain join the group as a flutist
Nehmain & Anaon leave the group, Ossian become the new vacant guitarist, laissans the post of bass player.
Hades (ex-Sword) join the group to replace Nehmain & Mylagon Vibuc' H (Funeralium) become the new bass player of the group.
The formation become stable at this time and will remain the same one until today.
Recording of first demonstration-Cd:
Mor Braz (meaning " Large Mer" into Breton) in Hybreed Studio. Mini-Cd is rather well acceuilli by criticism and the underground medium.
Recording of the first official album of the group
Year Deiz Ruz during the month of December 2004.
Exit at Burning Star Record (Greece) of
Year Deiz Ruz , followed few concerts to Western Europe.
The album is extrement well acceuilli, the first pressing is sold out very quickly
The second pressing of
