Henry V (Shakespeare)
Henry V is a part of William Shakespeare which is based on the life of the king Henri V of England, written in 1599. The events which surround the Bataille of Azincourt there are put in scene.
Some portions of a piece were written in former French, with Calembour S Anglo-French like gown =con, foot =foutre.
This part is the last of a tetralogy, preceded by Richard II and Henri IV (first and second parts).
It also gave place to a film adaptation in the film éponyme Henry V carried out in 1989 by and with Kenneth Branagh.
