Henry Pym

Doctor Henry “Hank” Pym is a Super-héros pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics. He is founding member of the Vengeurs. He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Its first appearance is in Tales to Astonish #27 of January 1962.

Fictitious biography

In its very first appearance, Pym was a insane Savant which had accidentally reduced its size and had been found trapped in an anthill. With much of chance, it could in escaping. It was in its next appearance that he became superman, using the invention which decreased it with its advantage.

Chemist, biologist and expert in Artificial intelligence (it will create in particular Ultron, a Robot with the history complexes), it is one of the largest scientists of the Marvel universe. During his adventures, Henry Pym finds his first wife whom he thought deceased behind the Iron curtain, and reconciles themselves with Janet, their marriage and divorces being cancelled.

Henry Pym reinstates the Avengers later and uses his capacity of growth again. At the time of the crossover Treason, it saves Janet of a fatal wound by again subjecting it to the rays which had given to this one its capacities of Guèpe. Janet then becomes an hybrid between the human one and the insect. The discovery of a surveillance device established in it by her husband pushes the couple at the edge of the rupture, but each one declares its love with the other before being sacrificed in the final combat against Onslaught.

Of return to earth, Henry Pym is again confronted with his personality disorders by his meeting with Yellowjacket. At the time of the War of the Destiny published in " Avengers Forever" , Henry Pym, the Wasp and Rick Jones are propelled in the future at the sides of Avengers resulting from various times, of which still unstable Yellowjacket. This one will betray the group before realizing that it is itself Henry Pym and to reverse the situation. A little later in the present, a magic spell of Kulan Gath materializes Yellowjacket with taken integrity of Henry Pym.
