Henry Jean-Marie Levet
Henry Jean-Marie Levet , (Montbrison, the Loire, the January 13rd 1874 - Chin the December 15th 1906) is a French poet. It was a Diplomate, having chosen this career by taste of the voyage. It led it in India, with the Vietnam, the Filipino , then in Argentine. He died of Phtisie at the 33 years age.
The best of its work consists of 10 poems, the Postcards , published in review in 1902 and republished after the death of the author by Valery Larbaud, on which they had a great influence, like on other poets of the voyage.
