Henry Hébrard of Villeneuve
Henry (or Henri) Hébrard of Villeneuve , born with Riom the September 11th 1848 and died in Paris the May 22nd 1925, is a politician, jurisconcsulte and Escrime French ur.
Biography
After traditional studies in its birthplace, it makes with Paris studies of right. During the war of 1870, it takes part in the operations of the armies of the East and the Loire as a lieutenant-adjudant-major to the 32e regiment of mobiles of the Puy-de-Dôme. In 1873, it enters to the Council of State, of which he is listener in 1874 and Maître of the requests in 1879. He is the president of several commissions and the author of several reports/ratios on the chambers of commerce, the primary education and the public assistance. It is named to advise State in 1895, president of the National office of the war orphans in 1917 and vice-president of the Council of State in 1919. He is elected member of the Academy of Science morals and political in 1920.Raise of the fencer Jean-Baptiste Mimiague and considered gunner, it founds in 1882 the Company of encouragement to the fencing, then in 1906 the National federation of the companies of fencing and rooms of weapons of France, become later the French federation of fencing. In 1894, it publishes a work on the fencing entitled Propos of sword, 1882-1894 . It organizes the international tournaments of fencing in 1896 and 1897 and chairs the section of fencing of the World Fair of 1900. He is member of the International Olympic committee of 1900 with 1911.
A foundation of the policy and Academy of Science morals bears its name.
