Henry Carr
Henry Carr , born the November 27th 1942, is old a American athlete , double champion Olympic with the Olympic Games of summer of 1964.
Biography
Born with Strait (Michigan), Carr was one of the best sprinters of the beginning of the Années 1960. It gained three national titles and bench of the world records over 200 m, 220 yard and 4 X.400 yard. In 1963, it gained the title NCAA over 200 m in 20" 5. The same year, it ran in 20" 69 to divide the title with Otis Drayton.
With the Olympic Games of summer of 1964 with Tokyo, it gained the title over 200 m in front of its compatriot Otis Drayton and ED Roberts of Trinidad and Tobago. He was also crowned with Ollan Cassell, Michael Larrabee and Ulis Williams out of relays 4 X.400 Mr.
After its career of athlete, he became player of American football to the New York Giants, disputing 37 matches between 1965 and 1967.
