Henrichemont
Henrichemont is a common French, located in the department of the Cher and the area Center.
Geography
History
The town of Henrichemont, thus named in the honor of Henri IV, was created in 1609 by Maximilien de Béthune known as Sully to become the capital of the sovereign Principauté of Boisbelle and to be used as refuge to the Protestants of the Berry. This principality, which covered the territories of the current communes of Henrichemont, Achères and, to some extent, Menetou-Living room and Quantilly, was acquired by the Crown the September 24th 1766, date on which it was yielded to the king by prince de Béthune, and was attached to the election (tax district) of Bourges.

Located on the commune of Henrichemont, the Terminal is a village of potters known for an important production of traditional utility parts, but also like place of the revival of modern ceramics since the Forties. Many ceramists and potters there exert and are characterized by quality and the originality from their creations. One can visit: The ceramic Center of creation, the Ivanoff museum, the Museum of the traditional pottery, and many showrooms of the local ceramists. Receiving approximately a hundred and thousand people per annum, the Terminal is one of the most visited villages department. The Terminal is also known for its charming " Épicerie" and its restaurant - living room of the, (damaged by a fire in August 2006, it was repaired with identical in a few months).
