Henri of Bourbon-Verneuil
Henri of Bourbon-Verneuil is the 87e bishop of Metz of 1612 with 1652.
Wire naturalness of the king Henri IV of France and Catherine Henriette de Balzac d' Entragues, it was born on November 3rd, 1601. It is legitimated in 1603.
Appointed bishop in 1612, he resigned into 1652 of his load.
He is made knight on December 31st, 1661 and duke of Verneuil in 1663. In 1665 he becomes ambassador in England and 1666 governor of Languedoc.
October 29th, 1668 he marries Charlotte, girl of the chancellor Pierre Séguier and widow of Maximilien III of Bethune, Duc of Sully.
He died without children on May 28th, 1682.
