Biography
- Of 1619 with 1622, it is superintendent of finances of the kingdom, equivalent at the current post of minister of finances.

In 1625, Louis XIII names it Marshal of France.

In 1627, it takes share with military operations of the Siège of the La Rochelle. At the sides of Toiras, it drives out George Villiers, duke of Buckingham of the Ile de Ré and the November 17th beats at sea it.
