Henri de Rothschild

The Baron Henri James of Rothschild is a Médecin, contractor, Philanthrope and Dramatic author born the July 26th 1872 and died in 1947.

Biography

Resulting from the English branch of the Family Rothschild but established in France, Henri de Rothschild made studies of medicine and financed liberally several Hôpitaux as well as the searchs for Pierre and Marie Curie. Tireless contractor, always full with new projects, it founded various industries, since the Voitures Unic, which ended up being absorptive by IVECO, until a Savonnerie.

Impassioned Theater, it directed the Théâtre Antoine and made build the Théâtre Pigalle. He was dramatic author under the pseudonyms of Charles Of the Fountains and André Pascal .

He married, in 1895, Mathilde Sophie Henriette von Weissweiller (1872 - 1926). They had three children:

Henri de Rothchild started by living the Faubourg Saint-Honore before moving in the castle of the Dumb woman, whom it made build between 1912 and 1922 by the architect Lucien Hesse.

He also had a country house in forest of Rambouillet as well as the Abbaye of Be worth-of-Cernay.
