Henri de Lévis
Henri de Lévis , duke of Ventadour (1596 - 1651), par of France, prince de Maubuisson, count of Voulte, lord of Cheylard, Vauvert and other places, general lieutenant of the king Louis XIII in Languedoc, combined Cop, Viceroy of the News-France (1625-31).
After having been soldier, it enters the orders and in 1625 it buys with his/her uncle, the duke Henri II of Montmorency, the viceroyalty of the News-France, with an aim of financing missions Jesuits. It is also one of the founders of the Compagnie of the Blessed Sacrament, in 1627. In 1650 it becomes Chanoine of Notre-Dame de Paris (1650)
