Henri de Battenberg

Henri Maurice de Battenberg , born in 1858, died in 1896. Wire of Alexandre de Hesse and Julia von Hauke, titrated princess of Battenberg. In 1885, it married Béatrice of the United Kingdom (Saxony-Cobourg-Gotha). From this union was born Victoire Eugenie de Battenberg which married the king of Spain Alphonse XIII.

Henri de Battenberg is the great-great-grandfather of current “the duke of Anjou”, claiming legitimist with the throne of France, Louis de Bourbon (1974-) and the maternal great-grandfather of the king Juan Carlos Ier of Spain.
