Henri de Baradat

Henri de Baradat , abbot of Clermont, religious French, born in 1598, dead the April 25th 1660. He condemned the theses Janséniste S.

Biography

He was wire of Guillaume de Baradat, baron of Thou, lord of Damery-in-Champagne, and Suzanne of Romain. After having made its humanities with the Arrow and its theology with Paris, it obtained the priory of the Essarts, prévôté of Favières, then a canonicat with Our-Lady-of-Paris. It came little to its Abbaye from Clermont.

But, named bishop of Even Boundary-line and of France (1627), it resided in its diocese which it managed carefully until his death, arrival the April 25th 1660. It was buried in its cathedral.

Jacques Vasseur, canon of Boundary-line, dedicated to him in 1633 his Histoire of the bishops of Boundary-line .
