Biography
With died of his/her father occurred in 1503, Henri V of Mecklembourg-Schwerin reigned jointly with his/her brothers Eric II of Mecklembourg-Schwerin, Albert VII of Mecklembourg-Schwerin and his uncle Balthazar de Mecklembourg-Schwerin. His/her uncle Balthazar died the March 16th 1507, his brother Eric II the December 22nd 1508, both without heirs. Henri V and Albert VII shared the possessions. Henri V of Mecklembourg-Schwerin accepted Schwerin, and Albert VII Güstrow.
In 1523, began more or less publicly, the teaching of the Reform Lutheran, this teaching became official under its reign. Dice the beginning, Henri V of Mecklembourg-Schwerin supported this teaching, but in a careful way, after the Confession of Augsburg, it was done in a franker way. Despite everything, Henri V did not adhere to the Ligue of Smalkade, it opposed the introduction in 1548, of the war of religion in Germany which began after the death from Martin Luther.
