Henri Tonel
Henri TONEL was born on April 15th 1831 with Soissons (France) and deceased on April 30th 1863 during the Bataille from Camerone with the Mexico.
Born in a family from Actor S and itself professional Actor, it engages in 1854 in the infantry of line. It fights then in the Crimea and Italy.
At the time of the departure for the countryside of the Mexico, in 1863, it makes the crossing on the Saint-Louis .
It makes profitable the 59 days of the crossing to organize leisures, to amuse his comrades and to assemble a light comedy entitled a double-bedded room .
It is a '' lignard '', i.e. it is integrated into the 3rd company of the foreign Régiment as a warrant officer " being used for title français" (in opposition to the " titrate étranger"). It is as such as it takes part in the Bataille of Camerone on April 30th 1863.
It is mortally wounded by defending the interior of the hacienda.
