Henri River

Henri Laurent Rivière (July 12th 1827 - May 19th 1883) was an officer of the French Marine and a writer.

He was born with Paris. He entered to the Naval college in October 1842. Ilest promoted lieutenant in 1856 and commander in 1870. In 1876, with the sloop it Transfers it is affected with the naval division of New Caledonia. Henri Rivière was also Journaliste for Freedom , and published articles in the Revue of the two worlds .

He was buried with the Cimetière of Montmartre to Paris.
