Henri Nouyrit
Nouyrit Henri (1931-2004) was Agriculteur, economist, person in charge of co-operative movements, creator of a co-operative bank in France and mayor of Cabrerets (Lot).
Farmer, economist and co-operative person in charge
Of a family originating in the Batch, born in 1931 with Neuilly-sur-Seine, Henri Nouyrit was graduate School of the Eastern languages and Institute of Ethnology. He became farmer in the Batch.Henri Nouyrit took part in his department in the organization of Coopérative S of stockbreeders. He had adopted the techniques of agriculture biodynamics.
He enters in 1970 to the French Confederation of the agricultural cooperatives, of which he becomes the director of 1981 with 1990. He takes part in the development of the law of 1972 on the statute of the co-operatives.
Henri Nouyrit created and chaired the group of the experts economists at the European level. He was president of the COGECA (general Committee of the agricultural co-operation of the European Union) of 1983 with 1985. He represented the agricultural co-operative movement within international co-operative Alliance. He was also member of Acacémie of agriculture of France.
He joined the movement of the Anthroposophes, inspired by the thought of Rudolf Steiner, and published several works.
Financing interdependent and creation of companies
Henri Nouyrit founded in 1978 and directed the Finance company of the Nave (New fraternal economy). The Nave is an establishment affiliated to the banking group Co-operative Crédit (attached to the Banque Populaires). The Nave took as a starting point banks Dutchwoman (Triodos), Switzerland and allemande.Henri Nouyrit took part in many regroupings as in France Finansol (Finance association and Solidarity, which delivers a label with the interdependent financial products) or Inaise (international association of the investors in social economy, based in Brussels). He was administrator of the Foundation of the Co-operative Credit.
He was also in 1994 the president-founder of an association of militants of the support to the creation of companies, Épicea (Saving of proximity for the investment and the creation of companies and activities), which became then Éficea (Saving, financing and information for the creation of companies and activities).
Mayor of Cabrerets
Henri Nouyrit was, of 2001 to his death in 2004, mayor of Cabrerets in the Batch, commune of 200 inhabitants within the Regional natural park of Causses of Quercy. He was knight of the agricultural Mérite and knight of the Légion of honor.
