Inter-war period

Post-war period

After his Release, Henri Martin continues a career of permanent within the Party. Very quickly it is promoted with the direction of the Union of the republican youth of France, member temporary of the Central committee, then regular member of this organization to the XVIIe Congress in May 1964. He will be then director of the central École of the Party and member of the secretariat of Jacques Duclos at the time of the presidential election of 1969. In 1982, he is always member of the Central committee .
