Henri Loyrette
Henri Loyrette is a conservative and historian of French art born on May 31st, 1952 with Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Biography
Former boarder of the Academy from France to Rome, conservative of the inheritance, Henri Loyrette enters in 1978 to the Musée of Orsay. Specialist in the art of the 19th century, it takes the direction of this museum in 1994 and is elected in 1997 with the Académie in the fine arts.He is since 2001 directing president of the Musée of Louvre.
