Henri Ier de Castille

Henri 1st of Castille , king de Castille and León, wire of Alphonse {{VIII}} and of Aliénor Plantagenêt (girl of Henri {{II}}), is born in 1204.

Henri became the heir to the throne when his/her Ferdinand brother dies suddenly in 1211.

When his/her father dies in his turn, in 1214, Henri was only ten years old. The older sister of Henri, Berengere de Castille, woman of Alphonse {{IX}}, is designated regent.

In 1215, Henri Marie with Mafalda of Portugal, girl of Sanche {{Ier}}. However, they are both very young people and the marriage is cancelled in 1216 without to be consumed.

Henri 1st dies in 1217 at the thirteen years age to Palencia. Its nephew, the son of his sister Berengere, Ferdinand {{III}} succeeds to him.
