Henri II of Nassau-Beilstein (in German Heinrich II von Nassau-Beilstein)

He was Co-count de Nassau-Beilstein of 1380 with 1412.

Family

Sons of Henri Ier de Nassau-Beilstein and of Imagined von Westerberg.

In 1383, it married Catherine von Randerode († 1415), (girl of Arnold von Randerode)

Four children were born from this union:

  • Catherine de Nassau-Beilstein (1459), in 1407 it married the count Richard III von Hanau († 1451)

  • Guillaume de Nassau-Beilstein († 1430)

  • Henri III of Nassau-Liebenscheid of 1425 with 1477.

Henri II of Nassau-Beilstein belonged to the third branch resulting from the second branch of the Maison of Nassau. The line of Nassau-Beilstein belonged to the Ottonienne stem which gave stathouders to the Flanders, the Holland, the United Provinces, a king with the England and the Scotland in the person of Guillaume III of Orange-Nassau.

This line of Nassau-Beilstein died out in 1561 with Jean III of Nassau-Beilstein.
