Henri Caillemer
Henri Caillemer , man of letters, adviser of the cultural affairs, born the November 16th 1907 with Grenoble (Isere), dead the March 3rd 1981 with the Roche-sur-Yon (the Vendée), is a Politician French, deputy of the Vendée of 1958 with 1962.
Biography
Under the pseudonym of Charles Mauban , he was writer with the weekly magazine of Extreme-right-hand side Rivarol, published several novels and texts, as well as a translation of Pigs cuts wings (the most beautiful pig of the world) , of P.G. Wodehouse. He also collaborated in the Revue of the Two Worlds and in the Nouvelle French Review.After having been regional delegate with the Youth of the Lyonese under the Mode of Vichy, he is elected appointed in the 2nd district of the Vendée in 1958 under the label Indépendants and country, vis-a-vis the radical Socialist Pierre Nau, general adviser and mayor of Luçon. He is named member of the Sénat of the Community.
He invites to vote not at the time of the referendums of the January 8th 1961 on the Autodétermination of the Algérie and the April 8th 1962 on the approval of the Accords of Evian.
Beaten in 1962 by Marcel Bousseau (UNR), it is named in 1963 to advise cultural near the embassy of France in Afghanistan.
