Henri Bouquillard
Henry Bouquillard (June 14th 1908 with Nevers - March 11th 1941) is a Aviateur French.
One of the first figures of the free French Air forces, Bouquillard joined England in July 1940. Integrated into the 245th Squadron , it takes share with the Bataille of England where it obtains two approved victories. It is cut down above London the March 11th 1941, before to have learned its nomination with the rank from Sous-lieutenant.
Bouquillard had clandestinely joined England at the beginning of Casablanca and bound for Glasgow. A voyage which lasted 17 days aboard British cargo liner Oakrest , which transported a quota of Polish troops of North Africa and, among the other French who joined De Gaulle, Romain Gary. This last pays homage to his/her Bouquillard companion besides in the promise of the paddle : " It does not have its street in Paris but for me, all the streets of France carry its nom".
