Henri Beautiful

Henri Beau (June 27th 1863 - May 15th 1949) is a painter Québécois.

Native of Montreal, it studied near Joseph Chabert and travelled to the United States before being registered with the Académie Julian, where it followed the lessons of William Bouguereau.

Especially active in France, it paints many fabrics for the Public records of Canada and occupies the secretariat of the National company of the fine arts of Paris. Returned in Canada in 1938, it is named officer of the French Academy.
