Come sometimes with the the Pyrenees, it made some rises there. Bibliophile impassioned, it sought and collected the books devoted to the Pyrenees. It published several works on this “Pyrenean literature”:

It there analyzes and comments on, sometimes with irony, always with passion, the Pyrenean literature of the 19th century, of Ramond de Carbonnières with the first writers of the 20th century. This work is at the same time a history of exploration and “conquest” of the tops of the Pyrenees. In the preamble to volume I, “ biblio-Pyrenean excursion ”, it proposes, on the model of Alpinisme, the term “Pyrénéisme”.
