Henri-Paul Rousseau , Québécois business man, occupies the position of president and chief of the direction of the Caisse of Deposit and Placement of Quebec (CDPQ).
Native of Coaticook, it finishes his two university baccalaureats (social service and economy) in 1970. Stock-broker, it obtains a doctorate in economy of the Université Western Ontario in 1973. He becomes then professor at the University of Montreal, then at the Laval University until in 1986. In 1986, it makes a jump in the private sector titrates of vice-president to the National Banque.
After a career with the National Bank, it is named secretary of the Commission Bélanger-Campeau in 1990. Following the Commission, it will take successively the bar of chairman of the insurance company Boréale, then of the Banque Laurentienne.
In 2002, its nomination with the Case of Deposit achieves the unanimity in the medium of the businesses. It succeeds Jean-Claude Scraire. He undertakes a series of changes and restructures the operation of the Case of Deposit. In 2005, the Case of Deposit obtains an output of 14,7%.
